Robert Clark
Director – Locksmith Division
Rob Clark has 10 years’ experience as a business owner in the locksmith industry. Prior to this, Rob spent 22 years working as a police officer for the South Australia Police (SAPOL). The last twelve of those years as a Detective, of which five were
as a Detective Sergeant managing staff, administrative duties and managing major incidents. Rob has worked closely with community policing programs such as Neighbourhood Watch and Crimestoppers to ensure the highest level of safety and security is maintained for local business, schools (government, independent and Catholic), other government agencies and the community alike. Prior to working with SAPOL, Rob worked in the security and hospitality industries whilst completing his university studies. He has completed three degrees: a Bachelor of Science Degree (with Honours) in Exercise Physiology, an Ordinary Bachelor of Science (Forensic Science) at The Flinders University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Social Science (Justice Administration) at the University
of SA, respectively.
Rob is a family man with two children, Sarah and Alex. Sarah is 18 years of age and has just commenced tertiary studies in Townsville. Alex is 16 years old and has just completed Year 10. He is great with his hands and wants to join the Locksmith trade when he finishes year 12.
Greg Bloomfield
Salisbury
Jim’s Locksmiths (Salisbury) is owned and operated by Greg Bloomfield. Greg has owned his franchise since August, 2013 and has been operating throughout metropolitan Adelaide since that time. Greg has been a locksmith for12 years completing his apprenticeship in 2010. Since that time he has worked for an automotive locksmith in Adelaide until starting his own business in August, 2013.
John Van De Giessen
Salisbury
In 2017 John Van De Giessen joined Greg at Jim’s Locksmiths (Salisbury). We would like to welcome John onboard and let you know a little bit about him. John previously worked in the Security industry and started locksmithing in 2008. He completed his apprenticeship in 2011 and predominately worked in the automotive locksmith field. In 2017 he joined his brother-in-law at Jim’s Locksmiths (Salisbury).
Alex Foord
Adelaide
Alex Foord recently joined Jim’s Locksmiths (Adelaide) after returning to Adelaide from Kent in the United Kingdom. Whilst working in Kent he worked for MSC Automotive from February, 2015 until July, 2017. Prior to moving to Kent he completed his locksmith apprenticeship with a local automotive locksmith in Adelaide between 2010 – 2014. He continued to work for the same locksmith until he moved to Kent. Upon his return we now welcome him to as he joins Jim’s Lockmiths (Adelaide).
Stuart Simpson
Adelaide
Stuart Simpson joined Jim’s Locksmiths (Adelaide) in December, 2017. An Automotive specialist and a trade background as a mechanic. Stuart completed his apprenticeship in 2003 and has been in the Automotive industry since 1999, firstly as a Mechanic then continuing as a Locksmith training and practicing in predominantly Automotive. Stuart’s technical background provides excellent problem solving ability due to an understanding of complete vehicle electrical systems. His hands on experience allows him to remove and replace difficult in dash components without mess or fuss. Stuart will take the time to listen and best understand your specific needs or requirements.
Alan Crossman
Werribee
Alan Crossman, I’m 34 years old, and lives with his children in the Wyndham, Victoria. He has been a Locksmith since 2001 first doing work experience for Stewarts Security Specialists after finishing year 12. He then commenced his pre-apprenticeship. In 2002 Alan won the Stewarts Security Specialists apprentice of the year award. He completed his qualifications in 2003 and in 2009 I began work at Safeguard Security where he started to specialise in safe, vault and fabrication work.
Alan has extensive experience across all aspects of Locksmithing and can perform a wide range of services in the industry. We welcome Alan to Jim’s Locksmiths (Werribee).
